We cannot believe that May is over and June starts on Monday! This school year has just flown by! Next week brings some fun events like CAST (Children and Seniors Together) week with our RAVE volunteers, 4th grade Pen Pal visits, some classroom showcase events and our favorite…FIELD DAY!!!

If you have a moment to stop by our Lost and Found before the school year ends, you might find that long, lost sweatshirt or jacket! All items remaining on the last day of school will be donated! 

A reminder that June 5 is a FULL day of school! 

Bridgewater Raynham Varsity Cheerleaders are hosting a Youth Cheer Clinic this summer! Saturday, June 15th at BRRHS. There will be 3 sessions split up by age groups. Sign up at the link below or with the shortened URL in the flyer! Payment is cash or venmo. This is a fundraiser for our BRAND NEW school uniforms this year!!!

Bridgewater-Raynham Sports "R" Fun Camp is Back! What is Sports "R" Fun camp? This is a multisports camp held every summer for students in grades 2-8 for three weeks (Monday-Friday) at the Bridgewater Middle School. We typically have activities involving basketball, baseball/softball, tennis, floor hockey, soccer, and other fun games and activities to keep the kids moving! Drop off starts at 8:30 each day and pickup is at 2:00. For even more details or to register please feel free to reach out to Patrick Connor. 
A message from RAVE: Please join the Town of Raynham as we honor our Veterans and active members of all military branches at the 10th Annual Raynham Memorial Day Parade Saturday, May 25, 2024 @ 10:00 am.  The parade will begin at Merrill Elementary and proceed down Pleasant Street, through the four corners and along South Main Street.  It will then turn onto King Philip Street and conclude at Gazebo Park.  Commemorative ceremony to follow the parade at 11:15am at the Gazebo.  Veterans and members of the military are invited to ride in our trolley or walk in the parade. Next Meeting: Our next meeting is Wednesday June 5th at 6:30 PM in the library! It's our last meeting of the year, and we will be voting on our final open board positions for the upcoming school year. All interested should be in attendance. 
Field Day/4th grade step up day: Please be on the lookout for the sign up genius for parent volunteers for this day! 
Edgewood Fundraiser: Summer is just about here and what a better way to start than by signing up for Edgewood Pool and Tennis Club! When purchasing a membership, please select LPO and a portion will go to help our students continue to have enrichment activities in the fall! 
Teacher Appreciation: Huge shout out to Heather McRae Reid who helped us to bring our wonderful Laliberte Teachers and Staff this week treats and gift cards ( donated by our Laliberte families! ) to show them our appreciation!!

We wrapped up our MCAS assessments today! Your 3rd and 4th grade students deserve a nice rest this weekend after working so hard on these assessments! Any students who missed an MCAS assessment day will make the test up next week!

The BR Youth One Mile Road Race is coming up on Sunday May 19th at 2:00 PM at the BR High School. There will be three races by grade level: K-2, 3-5, and 6-8.  Below is the registration link.  This year, it will be on-line registration only.  We had nearly 150 participants last year, and we are hoping for 200 this year.  http://www.bryouthroadrace.com.

News from LPO: 
Meeting Updates: Congratulations to our President Krystal Berntsen and our new VP for the upcoming school year Beth Alles! Voting for Treasurer and Secretary will take place at our next meeting June 5th at 6:30 PM! 

Edgewood: If you are signing up to use the edgewood pool and tennis club this summer please sign up using the LPO selection and some of the cost will be donated towards LPO! 

School Store: Our school store has officially finished for the school year! We want to thank all of the parent volunteers who helped our students shop each month. Special shoutout to Stacey Murray for all of her hard work handling this throughout the year! 

Teacher Appreciation Week: Next week the LPO will be giving our wdonerful teachers and staff treats and goodies throughout the week to thank them for all they do every day. There is also an option for students to show their appreciation as well!
