Principal's Update

Hello Laliberte Families,
I hope you are enjoying the long weekend. Here is our weekly information:

Fun Run Fundraising  - We are in the middle of our fundraising for our fundraising event.  Who’s ready for a weekend challenge?!  Enter a $30 flat donation or $1 per minute donation before Monday to snag a GLOW IN THE DARK EDITION keychain! Good luck!  Help us reach our $45,000 for field trips and activities for students:
1. SIGN UP your student(s) on MyBooster.com.
2. SHARE with your family/friends using the SHARE tools on MyBooster.com.
3. GIVE a donation.
We’re currently at $31,762 towards our goal of $45,000.  Every donation counts and brings us closer to enrichment activities for our LaLiberte Lions!

FUN RUN Event - Students will participate in the FUN RUN fundraiser on Friday, October 17  during the following times. Parents/Guardians are welcome to observe: Grade 2: 12:40 pm / Grade 3: 11:00 am / Grade 4:  9:40 am

Parent/Guardian - Teacher Conferences will take place this month during the following dates and times:
Monday, October 20th  from 5:00 - 7:30 pm
Wednesday, October 22nd from 1:00 - 3:30 pm
Monday, October 27th from 5:00 - 7:30 pm
Please return your appointment slip as soon as possible.

Scholastic Book Fair will be held the week of October 20 - 24. 
Please see the following information from our parent group, the LPO.
Next Meeting: Wednesday November 12th at 6:30 in the Laliberte Library. Come hear important updates and fun events we have planned for the school year. Babysitting available !
Fun Run: Registration is underway. Please share with family and friends to help us reach our goal. Fun Run will take place October 17th. Check our Facebook page for specific grade times. Scholastic BookFair: October 20-24th. Check out our Facebook page for class schedules. Once again we will be holding Book Bingo on 10:20 from 5:45-6:45. Come try your luck to win a free book from the fair !!
