Principal's Update

Hello LaLiberte Families,
I’m so looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! It will be great to get back to school and back to our routine. Here is our information for this week:

• Kindergarten Registration for the 2026 - 2027 school year is now open. Please see the flyer for more information: 2026 - 2027 Bridgewater-Raynham Kindergarten Registration
• Wednesday Early Release Day - Students will be released at 12:05 pm this Wednesday so teachers can participate in professional development. Lunch will be served.
• ​LPO meeting this Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm in the library. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
• RAVE Read Across America event will take place this Thursday. RAVE volunteers will go to each classroom to read a story to acknowledge READ Across America Week.
• ​After School Karate Program - Due to the snow days, the start date for our after school Karate Program will begin next Monday, March 9th.
• The LPO Free Family Yoga event will be rescheduled. More information to follow.
• ​Yearbooks: Don’t forget to order your yearbook now! Deadline to place orders is April 22nd. Go to coffee pond.com and use password LAL2526. We are still accepting photo submissions for the yearbook until the end of February.
  
• A message from RaynWater STEAM: Parents, is your child into STEM, art, crafting, or making cool stuff? Do they have a special skill or talent that they could teach others how to do? Help them apply to be a seller or peer-teacher at Innovate! A Student Marketplace, where students design products or lessons and sell them to other children at a market. This is a great opportunity for building confidence, sharing creativity, and engaging in real-world experience. The Marketplace happens May 9th at the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School. Applications to be a seller or peer-teacher are open now and due on March 9th. • ​Given the big mounds of snow in the parking lot, I strongly recommend for parents to use their car in the parent drop off line rather than parking at the top parking lot and walking their child to the building. Using the car drop line is much safer than having students walking in the parking lot. I  thank you for your assistance. 
• I ask for everyone’s patience while navigating the parking lot during school arrival and dismissal times. The safety of our students and staff is always our first priority.
  

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our custodial and maintenance staff for their hard work in clearing the school parking lot and walkways after the blizzard. They worked very hard all week and we truly appreciate all that they accomplished under difficult circumstances.
