I hope you’re enjoying this beautiful weekend. Looks like summer doesn’t want to leave! Here is our information for this week:

• Early Release Day - This Wednesday, October 1st, students will be dismissed at 12:05 so teachers and staff can participate in professional development. Lunch will be served.
• Fun Run - Fun Run registration has opened!!!  Please register your child as soon as you can. Kick off will take place October 7th during school hours with the Fun Run taking place October 17th! We will be looking for Prize Patrol volunteers and a day of volunteers ! You must have a current CORI on file with the school. Be on the lookout for the signup genius.
  
• LPO Next Meeting - Wednesday October 8th @ 6:30 PM in the library! Come hear important updates and see what we have planned for the school year. Babysitting available!
  
• Online Spirit Wear - Get all the Laliberte attire you may need all year long through Spirit Wear.

Please see the following information from Student Services: We have seen an increase in use of assistive technology devices that allow parents and families to monitor and track their child’s location.  These devices are primarily being worn by our youngest students during the school day. In some cases, these devices have additional features that allow parents and families to listen to their child’s interactions throughout the school day.  Using the listening feature is not permissible without the informed consent of those who are being recorded or being heard via the device.  These features also further compromise the privacy of other students in our care while they are at school.  For these reasons, if your child is using one of these devices while at school, please contact your child’s principal and/or special education administrator to review its use.

Hello Laliberte Families,
It was wonderful to welcome our students back to school this week!!! Here is our weekly information:

• Laliberte Open House will take place on Tuesday, September 9th. This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teacher and see their classroom. Please check with your child’s teacher for the specific grade level time.  
• Emergency Forms will be sent home on Monday. Please complete and return your child’s form as soon as possible. All forms should be returned by this Friday, September 12th.
• ​Please see the Girl Scout Flyer regarding registration information.
• Our first LPO meeting is Wednesday, September 10th from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Hello Laliberte Families,
We are so excited for the first day of school tomorrow. Laliberte School looks amazing, thanks to our custodial staff and teachers. Here are a few pieces of information:

• On the first day of school, your child will come home with several forms that need to be completed and returned as soon as possible. Thank you!
• Laliberte Open House is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9th. More details will follow.
• Just a reminder to please be waiting at your child’s bus stop at 10 -15 minutes before it’s scheduled arrival and drop off time. Students will not be allowed  off the bus at the end of the day unless there is an adult waiting for them. 
• We ask for your patience and understanding with bus transportation as we all get used to the bus routes and procedures.
• We will have additional staff members assisting our second students to their new classrooms once they get off the bus or exit parent drop off.
