• Incoming 2026 -2027 Incoming Kindergarteners and their families are invited to a special event, Class Night 2026 for the esteemed class of 2039. This exciting annual event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 6 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm from at the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School. It is a wonderful opportunity to warmly welcome the newest members of our school community and celebrate the beginning of their educational journey with us.

• Bus Safety - We have received several bus complaints of students yelling and not sitting in their seats on the bus. As we continue the conversation of bus safety at school, please remind your child at home that it is important for them to talk quietly to the friend next to them while riding the bus and to remain in their seat until it is time for them to exit. I thank you for your support.
• ​Scholastic Book Fair - Thank you to the LPO and to the many volunteers who worked very hard to make our Scholastic Book Fair a huge success! 
• Grade 2 Concert will take place on this week in the cafeteria:

• Parent/Guardian Teacher Conferences will be held this week during the following times: Monday, March 23rd  from 5:00 - 7:30 pm and Wednesday, March 25th from 1:00 - 3:30 pm.
• ​Please note that Book Bingo will be held on Monday, March 23 not Wednesday, March 25 as previously advertised.
  
• The Scholastic Spring Book Fair will be held next week in the library. To see when your child's class visits the book fair, please see the Spring 2026 Book Fair Schedule.
• ​Grade 3 Wax Museum -  Students did an amazing job presenting at the Third Grade Wax Museum last week. I was so impressed with the amount of work that went into researching, writing and presenting their topic. Thank you to all of the teachers and students for a job well done!

• Last Friday, third grade students enjoyed a Space Race Program. This was an enrichment activity sponsored by the LPO and facilitated by Bridgewater State University.
  
• ​Parent/Guardian Teacher Conferences appointment slips went home this week. Please return them as soon as possible. Conferences  will be held during the following times:
  
  • Monday, March 23rd  from 5:00 - 7:30 pm

• A Message from Raynwater STEAM:
  
  • Parents, is your child into STEM, art, crafting, or making cool stuff? Do they have a special skill or talent that they could teach others how to do? Help them apply to be a seller or peer-teacher at Innovate! A Student Marketplace, where students design products or lessons and sell them to other children at a market. This is a great opportunity for building confidence, sharing creativity, and engaging in real-world experience. The Marketplace happens May 9th at the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School. Applications for children in grades 3-12 to be a seller or peer-teacher are open now and due on March 16th. • Arrival and Dismissal - I continue to ask for everyone’s patience and understanding during our arrival and dismissal time each day. I understand that there is a lot of traffic and everyone needs to drop off their child at school to start their day, but beeping horns and angry gestures will not make the traffic move any quicker. Our main concern is the safety of our staff and students. I thank you in advance for your cooperation.

I’m so looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! It will be great to get back to school and back to our routine. Here is our information for this week:

• Wednesday Early Release Day - Students will be released at 12:05 pm this Wednesday so teachers can participate in professional development. Lunch will be served.
• ​LPO meeting this Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm in the library. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
• RAVE Read Across America event will take place this Thursday. RAVE volunteers will go to each classroom to read a story to acknowledge READ Across America Week.
• ​After School Karate Program - Due to the snow days, the start date for our after school Karate Program will begin next Monday, March 9th.
• The LPO Free Family Yoga event will be rescheduled. More information to follow.

• ​Given the big mounds of snow in the parking lot, I strongly recommend for parents to use their car in the parent drop off line rather than parking at the top parking lot and walking their child to the building. Using the car drop line is much safer than having students walking in the parking lot. I  thank you for your assistance. 
• I ask for everyone’s patience while navigating the parking lot during school arrival and dismissal times. The safety of our students and staff is always our first priority.
  

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our custodial and maintenance staff for their hard work in clearing the school parking lot and walkways after the blizzard. They worked very hard all week and we truly appreciate all that they accomplished under difficult circumstances.
